You can plan around the broad seasonal movement of the herds into the Maasai Mara, usually in the later dry-season months. Exact timing and locations depend on rainfall, and river crossings cannot be guaranteed. The Mara also has resident wildlife, so a rewarding honeymoon safari does not need to depend on a crossing.
