Why this route works

A journey with a clear sense of pace.

The pace matters as much as the places. Four nights lets you settle into safari rather than rush through it, while Lamu offers a softer, more individual finish than a large beach resort.

When to go. We plan the safari and coast together. The Mara works throughout the year, while Lamu is generally most settled from January to March and July to October. April and May are wetter; sea and wind conditions can vary.

This is an example rather than a fixed package. Camps, flight times and the final order are tailored to availability, season and your preferred pace.
